"the oldest site in Britain on which wholesale beer has been brewed continuously" will be closing later this year because... you guessed it, it's been bought out. on a lighter note, part of every employee contract at the brewery is 4 free pints per day. apparently the only rule around that is that no beer can be served before breakfast, but they never defined what time breakfast is, so people can show up to work in the morning and have a good morning beer if they would like! no doubt this clause will bemodified as part of the merger as well. |
